Introducing our new Graduate and Undergraduate Accountants
We were delighted to welcome our newest WLF team members in mid-February. There were plenty of eager new faces in the office with an intake of 7 Graduate Accountants and 3 Undergraduate Accountants.
Abina Subedi, Hanzalah Haroon, James Ackerley, Jovita Susanto and Portia Davie have all joined our Audit, Assurance and Advisory division.
The newest additions to the Business and Personal Advisory division are Rebecca Chen, Rishini Dias, Oscar Neale, Leah Johnston and Flynn Black.
“We had a great induction program this year,” says People and Culture Manager Michael Gozzi. “It was really pleasing to see how the new colleagues all connected with each other so quickly.”
“Our Graduate Program has been running for many years, and something we have always had a focus on is giving our new staff the opportunity to contribute to client work right from the time they start with us.”
“They are supported and guided by their Manager or Partner, which is a really good way to learn. And it means they are getting to do ‘real work’ that is interesting and rewarding from the word go.”
Michael says the Graduate and Undergraduate Programs bring so much value to the firm, and also provide learning opportunities for our longer serving staff members.
“As a firm, we are committed to being on the leading edge when it comes to technology and innovation. We want to also ensure we keep leading the way with our approach to client services and relationships. Having an intake of younger people who are new to the profession gives us all a bit of a fresh perspective, from the professional and social side of things!”
At the same time as welcoming our new team members we are also opening up our 2024 Graduate Accountant Program, so preparation for next year is already underway.
On behalf of the Partners and all the WLF team, welcome to our newest colleagues.
