Recognising and rewarding the achievements of our team

Posted on July 16th, 2020 by WLF

The Partnership is delighted to announce that four WLF Accounting & Advisory team members received promotions at the start of this month, in recognition of their ongoing contribution and achievements with the firm.

Jay Bowden has been promoted to the role of Advisor, while James Watson, Matthew Kiernan and Oliver Barta each received promotion to the role of Manager.  All four work within our Business and Personal Advisory Division (BPA).

BPA Partner Stuart Clutterbuck congratulated the four on their successes.

“James, Matt, Oliver and Jay have all consistently excelled in their work since joining the firm, delivering over and above to help provide service and solutions for our clients” says Stuart. “We’re a firm that’s been built on a foundation of customer service so it’s really pleasing to see our staff continue to step up.”

“Being a Tasmanian owned firm gives us the chance to get to know our clients, what drives them, as well as their challenges. It means we often have the opportunity to visit their workplaces, whether it’s an office, a farm, a retail outlet or a workshop.”

“James, Jay, Matt and Oliver have all taken the lead on this approach over the years, and it shows through in the way our clients talk about their service and also the trust that is built up.”

Alicia Leis, Chair of the Partnership, added “On behalf of all the Partners I’d like to extend our sincere thanks to James, Jay, Matthew and Oliver. In a year filled with so many challenges we know how very fortunate we are to have such dedicated people working with us.”

“These promotions recognise their achievements with WLF, and we look forward to seeing them continue their career journey with us.”
