WLF Accounting & Advisory Partners are proud and excited to launch a new initiative to support Tasmanian community service organisations – the WLF Community Partnership Program.

For more than 130 years, WLF has been supporting Tasmanian businesses, families and communities, and Partner Alicia Leis says this program felt like the logical next step.

“As an independent local firm, we have always had a commitment to helping Tasmanians, at a business and individual level” says Ms Leis.

“For many years WLF has supported charities and not-for-profit organisations right around the state. We tend to take a low-key approach to this, with very little promotion of our contribution. Nevertheless, it’s something we are quietly very proud of.”

“Our Partnership all feel strongly that we have a responsibility to help our state move forward, and play a role in shaping a more positive and prosperous future for Tasmania economically, culturally and socially.”

The new Community Partnership Program launched this week, with Expressions of Interest open from 9 April until 20 May 2024.

The Community Partner will benefit from $15,000 over the next two financial years, but Ms Leis is clear that it will be about more than money.

“This program is about building a true partnership with a community organisation – a relationship where we can share knowledge, explore volunteering opportunities, and bring people together.”

“It’s also important that we can collaborate and where relevant, help set our partner organisation up for future success and sustainability.”
