Welcome Chase McConnon to the WLF Partnership
We are delighted to announce that Chase McConnon has joined the WLF Accounting & Advisory Partnership, effective 1 July 2022.
As someone who has been actively involved in team sports for most of this life – including as a player, an official and in club governance – Chase is someone with a natural ability to lead and inspire teams. He is a firm believer that contributing to team success is the best type of reward, and this is an approach he applies throughout his professional career as well.
Chase joined WLF in 2009, following graduation from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting major). Throughout his career he has acquired significant expertise in advising and guiding clients through periods of change, whether this be navigating growth, selling a business or implementing new systems.
His detailed knowledge in cloud based accounting software systems is highly valued by clients, and he is recognised for specialisations in Xero trade and construction packages.
Partner and head of Business and Personal Advisory, Douglas Thomson, has had the privilege of working with Chase right through his time with the firm and says his promotion to Partner is well deserved recognition.
“Chase has a depth of technical knowledge and attention to detail to that is highly regarded by his clients. Complementing this is his commitment to working collaboratively, and developing solutions that deliver success” says Douglas.
“He is regularly out meeting with clients at their place of business, ensuring he has a great understanding of their organisation, and what is required to help lead them towards achieving their goals.”
“Chase’s approach is valuable to to our clients, and also to our firm” Douglas continues “When we talk about our strategic direction for the firm, knowing that Chase will be one of the people steering the Partnership with us fills me with a lot of confidence.”
Outside of his work commitments, Chase is heavily involved with Kingborough Lions United Football Club, having been a long time player and now serving on the board and as Treasurer. And for relaxation, Chase likes to travel, turn his hand at various renovation projects and ensure he has plenty of time with friends and family.
“On behalf of all the Partners, and the whole WLF team, I am extremely proud to welcome Chase to the Partnership” says Douglas.
