John joined WLF Accounting & Advisory in July 2023 through the merger of his accounting practice. He established his accounting practice in 2000, during that time building a client base of private, family owned and small business clients, advising across a range of industries and professions. He continues to provide these services in his current role at WLF.

Prior to this his professional career and extensive expertise has been gained in accounting firms across the areas of: business services, taxation, consulting, audit and insolvency, across government, SMEs and the corporate sectors, having delivered and facilitated training workshops for these sectors and the accounting profession within Tasmania and interstate. John has also previously worked for two of the ‘big four’ accounting firms.

During his career, John has provided pro bono services across the not-for-profit sector and has been a committed supporter of many organisations. He has been an active board member and advisor for:  arts, welfare and sporting organisations that include: the Beacon Foundation, Family Planning Tasmania, Speak Out Advocacy, Rowing Tasmania, and the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival.
