Has your career stalled? Are you feeling unmotivated in your current role? Are you self-motivated with a commitment to excellent client service?

If you’ve answered yes to the above, we want to hear from you. WLF Accounting & Advisory has an opportunity for an experienced tax accountant (2+ years of experience).

About you

You need to be passionate about providing high-quality services and advice, and ready to help the clients at WLF Accounting & Advisory achieve success. Strong communication skills are vital, as is a willingness to learn and grow your technical skill base. Our client base is one of the largest in the state and the successful applicant will play a leading role in helping them move forward. You will work with a range of corporate and government entities as well as private businesses and not for profits, assisting them from core compliance needs through to advisory work. You will be working collaboratively in a team under the mentorship of experienced Partners, Directors and Managers. You'll also help by mentoring and reviewing files of some of our bright up-and-coming staff and be supported by a structured professional development program.

We have an opportunity for a qualified accountant (CA/CPA complete or near completion) to join our Specialist Tax Advisory team. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in taxation preferably from a tax advisory or business services background. You will be responsible for identifying client issues and opportunities for strategic planning. As well as assisting with compliance work, you will be researching and preparing detailed technical advice for Partners to review in a wide variety of complex tax matters. Please address how your knowledge and experience of tax effect accounting, consolidations, small business concessions, trust taxation, FBT & GST and other tax matters have helped your clients move forward.
