Alison Merridew

Alison’s extensive career background includes legal practice, law reform, scientific research and professional yachting. This diverse experience has provided her with a unique and valuable perspective to problem solving and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Alison works on key internal audit and consulting projects across public, not-for-profit and private sectors. Her expertise includes risk management, strategy, compliance and regulatory processes, governance, fraud and corruption control, business continuity/ business resilience, and WHS.

Within our consulting portfolio Alison has a strong focus on ‘whole system’ facilitation, working with a wide range of stakeholder groups and steering large scale projects.

Alison also has a keen interest in human rights and has previously held roles with the Guardianship and Administration Board, the Mental Health Tribunal, and was an inaugural member of the Tasmanian Government Veterans Reference Group for four years.

Outside of her professional career, Alison is actively involved in sporting organisations and continues to compete in yachting events including recently completing the Melbourne to Hobart Yacht Race.
