You are self-motivated with initiative and life skills gained through being engaged with work, clubs, or the community. Being a team player and strong communication skills are vital, as is a willingness to learn and grow your technical skill base. You will be working collaboratively in a team led by experienced Partners and Managers, where you will be provided with continuous structured and practical learning to help develop your career.

About us:

We are an independently owned Tasmanian firm, established in 1890, with a long-standing reputation for helping our clients succeed. Our firm is made up of 12 Partners and more than 80 staff, and we are team-focused and offer great career opportunities.

Demand for our business and personal advisory services continue to grow, and we are currently seeking to appoint a full time:

  • Graduate Accountant or
  • Graduate Accountant in the early stages of their career (1 to 3 years)

Our team members are rewarded with a competitive salary (we'll chat about a suitable salary package at the time - it will depend on your skill set, experience and your ability to demonstrate how you can add value), a staff profit sharing incentive scheme, and a healthy work/life balance. We actively encourage our staff to be healthy, both physically and mentally, and a big part of this is decent work hours so our staff can spend time with their families, enjoy sporting commitments and generally live their lives.

We are a registered training employer of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and we support our Graduate Accountants through completing a CA qualification – we pay for the course fees and study materials upfront, offer paid study leave for each module and even pay you to attend our famous in-house tutorials.
