During her placement, Henny Octavia spent time working across two key areas of the organisation, the Audit Assurance and Advisory (AAA) division and Business, Personal Advisory (BPA) division providing her with exposure to different operational and strategic functions. This cross divisional experience enabled her to develop a broad understanding of how the organisation operates as a whole, while strengthening her technical, communication and problem solving skills.

The CAANZ Achiever Program provides participants with paid work experience alongside experienced professionals, offering practical exposure to real projects and workplace skills such as teamwork, time management and professional communication. The Achiever Program play an important role in supporting students as they transition from study to professional practice

During Henny’s placement in the AAA division, she supported day today activities gaining valuable insight into its core responsibilities and stakeholder interactions. Whilst her time in BPA further expanded on these experiences. Working across both divisions provided the opportunity to work with different teams, adapt to varied workflows and understand alternative approaches to achieving organisational outcomes.
