Marg is a passionate, results driven Chartered Accountant and taxation specialist, who has a strong commitment to her community.

Throughout her career, Marg has built a reputation as one of Australia’s foremost experts in taxation. Marg is regularly engaged to present at local and national conferences and seminars. Her professional commentary is also in demand from media and as a panellist speaker.

At the start of 2023, Marg was appointed President of The Tax Institute, an organisation that she has been a member of for 9 years and previously served as Vice-President and a Director. One of her commitments for her time in this role is to give back to the tax industry, as well as students and future tax experts across Australia.

Marg’s extensive experience is complemented by her practical attitude to delivering solutions and providing real world advice on the application of tax law, that is tailored to her clients’ needs. In addition to leading our Specialist Taxation Advisory division at WLF for the past 14 years, Marg also works with a range of clients to provide business and accounting advice and services to SMEs, families and individuals.

Marg is highly regarded for her contribution to the not-for-profit sector in Tasmania, where she has a focus on guiding clients to ensure their governance is best practice and in line with taxation and ACNC guidelines.

Marg is also an experienced Non-Executive Director and currently has Board positions on two NFP boards: Tassie Dancers Against Cancer and Tasmanian Iconic Walks, where she is also a founding Director. She also extends support to a number of local not-for-profit organisations with advice, in-kind support and sharing expertise and knowledge.
